It was apparently around 33°F on my commute to work and around 48°F on my commute home. I'm surprised looking at those numbers because I thought it hadn't been so cold on my commute to work (maybe the adrenalin and rushing around the house already mostly-layered to grab stuff like charging cables?) and not so warm on my commute home (maybe several hours of sitting nearly motionless at a desk had lowered my core temperature?). I didn't have to deal with any ice, precipitation, or wind; for the moment I don't plan to ride when I'd have to deal with the former two. It would be nice to work up to that, but I want to prove to myself first that I will actually regularly bike to work before investing in whatever gear I'd need to deal with ice or precipitation.
