day 225: fun with a single-line power outage

Have any of you experienced an outage of only one of the two live wires coming in to your place (if you have a three-wire electric power distribution system)? This was a first for me, and pretty confusing initially. (from my flickr photostream https://www.flickr.com/photos/missioncontrol/)
