This has not been easy for me to figure out! I've gotten as far as identifying the following information that I reported to IFTTT (they don't claim that they respond to all reports, though):
Due to a disconnection from Gmail, my applet with connection ID 73009898 stopped working around July 9 or 10. When I got Gmail reconnected to IFTTT around July 20, the content of the messages sent via that applet changed. Specifically, the message body used to be enclosed between
This change seems to have broken the email's ability to post-by-email to Dreamwidth, whose API does not seem to have changed.
I tried re-adding the original HTML tags to the Body part of the applet, but when I do so and save my changes, the Body content reverts to the version without those tags.
So my question is, why have those "wrapper" HTML tags disappeared from the body of the email that gets sent? Why are my attempts to add them back in failing (without any error messages), and is there a way to restore them?
If it's clarifying, the applet in question is triggered by my posting a public photo on my Flickr photostream, and it takes the action of sending an email to the address used to post to my Dreamwidth by email. It has been triggered consistently when my IFTTT account is "connected" to gmail. The only thing I can find that has changed is the content of that email.
