It was! I could have done without the drizzle, but it was by no means an unpleasant way to spend an afternoon—enjoying nature, moving my body, and chatting with old and new friends.

I don't, but I realized that you can order conbini-style wrappers (online, anyway) for your homemade onigiri, which as a hiking snack was 100% inspired by you from this trip to Raccoon Creek State Park two Thanksgivings ago.
