Where did you set the camera to get this shot? It looks like you're facing up and I always have a hard time getting that angle when I try to set something up for myself...
I don't remember how well I knew you at the time, but I brought IIRC two dozen of these cupcakes (well, ones from the same recipe :) ) to the WisCon bake sale one year.
I used my phone on a selfie stick that includes a tripod, set up on my kitchen counter, to get this angle. I was initially a little reluctant to buy a selfie stick, but it has proven indispensable in getting the shots I want (along with the Snapseed app and the usual digital photography advice to take a whole lot of shots and pick from among them).
