The box itself is a kiribako, a traditional paulownia storage box, and since I'd failed to label it I was checking what was inside (which was a tea bowl I made the last time I was in Japan, in June 2018). I've been trying to figure out what assemblage of utensils to use for my presentation part in the big tea relay event.
