It is—it's "chicken of the woods." I was on a mushroom-hunting hike with some more knowledgeable friends, and we were specifically looking for chicken of the woods since it's not visually similar to any toxic mushrooms, it has been seen in that area, and it's pretty tasty. Anticipating that we might not find any—and indeed we didn't—my ranger friend brought some they'd collected elsewhere and sauteed with olive oil and lemon juice, and it was scrumptuous. This is some of that. And that's why I titled this one "chicken of the other woods." :)
